Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Masseria Purgatorio Bed & Breakfast, I found it to be a solid choice for those seeking a balance between luxury and value. The location was notably central, making it easy to explore nearby villages and suited perfectly for the wedding I attended. Michelangelo, the host, was accommodating and allowed for a late check-in, which was appreciated after a long day of travel. The apartment I stayed in was equipped with basic cooking tools, which is a convenience for anyone looking to make light meals. Air conditioning was another highlight, providing relief from the summer heat. It had a comfortable sitting area that facilitated relaxation after a day of wandering. While the amenities included a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi, I did note that these could be deemed standard in many accommodations nowadays. The outdoor dining area and seasonal pool were nice touches, but not entirely essential for a stay focused on the local experience. The Masseria Purgatorio offers a pragmatic approach to luxury: decent facilities at a competitive price, especially who prioritize location and practicality over extravagant amenities. For both wedding guests and travelers to the area, it's a wise choice without breaking the bank.
